Manufacturer Recall Notice:

It has come to our attention that some LP hoses have been released from the factory without being crimped and while these hoses work properly for a time, there is potential and a very real risk of the hose fittings coming away from the hose.

As a precaution we are asking all owners to visually inspect their hoses if purchased since January 2007.

Do not dive with defect hoses and please contact the factory to obtain replacements.

Products affected:
Crimped Low Pressure Hoses supplied by Ambient Pressure Diving.

The following LP hoses are potentially affected:

Inspiration, Evolution and Evolution + Rebreathers:
o ADV hose (ADV end only)
o Buzzer Hose (both ends)
o Oxygen supply hose (solenoid end)
o Handset hose (lid end)

General:
o Buddy Blast Hose (air horn end only)
o 2nd stage Regulator hose ( 2nd stage end only)
o Gas connection system (2nd stage/ADV end only)

Products NOT affected:

The majority of LP hoses produced by AP since the mid 1980’s have used screw-together fittings and are NOT included in this recall.

These re-usable hose fittings are not crimped and are not meant to be.
