Diving the Vandenberg
Divers are already plumbing the depths of the Vandenberg. This underwater footage was taken approximately 3 hrs after she arrived on the ocean floor.
The USS Vandenberg was sunk 6 miles off the coast of Key West to create a natural reef on 27 May, 2009.

"We'll have several boats out there to show a sign of force and hopefully keep people organized," says Bobby Dube, spokesman for the state Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. "We do expect a lot of people out there. I'm sure people will be out there when the sun is first up."
He and others say be patient, be careful -- and be friendly. There are six mooring buoys at the site, not nearly enough to accommodate the number of boats expected. So expect to ask to tie off to other boats, or have other boaters ask to tie off your vessel.
